Relationships come in all forms and flavors. From friends to parents to children to life partners to lovers and more, life is all about the people we share it with. But as the wind blows, the flow of the universe shifts, never stopping to freeze time, never daring to preserve a moment.
On the tiny time scale of a human life, a moment in time can be just that, a moment, as easily as it can last a lifetime. Such is the human relationship. Sometimes it’s a fixture in our journey, sometimes an occasional visitor, sometimes a passing glance.
The divine tool of Astrology allows us to observe the connective inner workings, in all their beautiful complexity, between people in relationship. It teaches us that, like each individual, each relationship is a puzzle, born of rooted gifts, shadows and tendencies, continually evolving with each passing day and filtered through the reality of each participant’s consciousness and free will.
In this workshop, we will explore many astrological tools and techniques to understand the potentials and dynamics of relationships. These include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Individual Natal Relationship Needs
- Individual Relationship Needs Through Time (Transits and Progressions)
- Inter-Aspects (Synastry)
- House Overlays (Synastry)
- First Meeting Charts
- Composite Charts
Prerequisite: A working understanding of the basics of Astrology. A student should know the concepts of planets, signs, houses, aspects, transits and progressions. They should be able to look at a natal chart and arrive at some kind of rough, but accurate understanding of the on-paper makeup of an individual.
Anand Vadehra, recently relocated to Boulder, holds two degrees in Chemistry, including a Masters from Caltech. In a dose of apparent irony, his love of science brought him to the doorstep of Astrology in 2003, where he was humbled by the power, simplicity and usefulness of this divine, healing language. Anand has been a consulting Astrologer for over 10 years and is thrilled to pass this tool on to others looking for support in their journey.
