Friday – Sunday, February 7 – 9,
with Jeremy Taylor, D.Min.
Friday, 7 – 9 PM: In my experience, all dreams come in the service of health and wholeness. If we remember the dream, then we have at our disposal all the courage, creativity, strength, and wisdom necessary to respond creatively to even the worst “problem” that the dream presents. We all dream several times a night, and each dream is like a snapshot from the unconscious showing us what we don’t yet grasp with our waking mind. How can we work with our dreams to understand our complex spiritual selves? How can we understand the dreams of others? Is dream language the language of the Divine? Why do dream speak in metaphor? How does understanding our dreams affect our life in the world?
Saturday, 10 AM – 5 PM & Sunday, 10 AM – 2 PM: I like to ground theory in experience; in this workshop we’ll further explore the questions raised on Friday night, but we’ll do it through the lens of actual dream work. I’ll introduce how to responsibly work with dreams in a group and we’ll be able to work on several dreams volunteered throughout the weekend. No experience is necessary. When we share and work with dreams in a group we intensify our awareness of our deep, shared humanity.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday: $200 * Caritas members: $150
Friday only: $15 * Caritas members: $10
