Friday, May 17, 7 – 9 pm,
with Kimba Arem, performer & recording artist.
In this circle we will begin by focusing the group energy with the breath, group vocal toning, and crystal bowls to align our heart-fields with each other, setting a collective and personal intention for deep healing and inner harmony. We will then move up through our chakras using specific vowel sounds and vocal toning to bring balance and equanimity within. Next we will move into an experience of sacred sound, lying down as Kimba takes us on a journey using various indigenous and modern instruments designed for use in sound therapy. Finally, we will give back what we have received into the matrix of the Mother Earth, dear Gaia, sending out our powerful group intention that we have cultivated together for the healing of the land, the Elements, the Nations, and all beings.

Kimba Arem is a performer and recording artist, a musician since age seven with classical training in piano and flute. She received a B.S. in molecular and cellular biology at the University of Arizona, preparing for medical school. But following a near-death experience, and while later attending acupuncture graduate school studying Chinese Taoist Medicine, she was introduced to sound therapy. Since then she has developed her own practice, grown out of extensive subtle energy training in sound as medicine, herbology, Reiki (master level), flower and gem essences, and aromatherapy. She also works with light and color, and has incorporated these diverse elements into a multi-dimensional approach to healing with her sound-therapy private practice.
Kimba engineers music for CDs and film, offers peace music concerts, conferences, workshops, and private sound therapy sessions. Her sound therapy CDs currently in print include Waltz of the Moon, Vibrational Sound Healing, Gaearth Dreaming, Peace Journey, The Healing Didjeridu, Creation’s Tone, Psychedelic Prayers, The Way of Water, and Self-Healing with Sound and Music with Kimba Arem and Dr. Andrew Weil. Her current project, Crossing the Great Waters, based on The Tibetan book of the Dead for guidance through the states between death and re-birth, will be available soon.
