If you have always wanted to learn how to draw, but didn’t know where to start, this class is a great beginning. Peg has been making drawing and painting easy and fun for others for over 25 years! The basic skills require that we calm the nervous system through deep breathing and go within to center our focus. Then there are simple brain-researched exercises that you will learn to quiet your left brain and allow your creative right brain to come forward. She has refined this process to a science, and all of her students learn how to draw!

6/21, Contour Drawing– Through brain-researched exercises, learn how to slow down, calm your nervous system and confidently draw what you see.

6/28, Two Handed Drawing– This is a whole-brain drawing technique. Learn how it feels to engage your whole-brain in service to the joy and adventure of drawing.

7/5, Upsidedown Drawing– Feel your perceptions shift to a new way of seeing, structure, proportion, line and contrast.. Your right brain will love you for it!

7/12, Positive, Negative Space– Experience the importance of seeing wholistically. Draw one and you inadvertently have drawn the other!

7/19, Painting to the Music! Music has color, rhythm, line, repetition, tone and texture. Use music to inspire your choices as you paint from your spirit.
