From August 4-16th of this year, my friend, Diane and I went on a pilgrimage to visit the shrines of ten Madonnas in Italy. Our travels took us from the grandeur of Rome, to the breathtaking Southern Coast, to the mysterious mountains of Irpinia, to enchanted Sicily. At each shrine, there was the opportunity to connect with the archetype of the Divine Feminine. At some shrines, rituals of gratitude were performed by the pilgrims.
You are invited to join Diane and I to learn about the traditions of the Black Madonnas and see their beauty in our photos. We will share our personal story of our connection with the Divine Feminine.
Rosemary Czubaj, M.A., LPC, LAC is a psychotherapist. She has been drawn to and has informally studied the Black Madonna over the last ten years.
