Studies reveal the single greatest regret people have on their deathbeds is that they did not live a life true to themselves. Socio-cultural conditioning often teaches us who we should aspire to be long before we can learn to distinguish these projections from our inborn, divine purpose—our truth.
Astrology is one of a handful of marvelous tools the universe has provided for pulling back the curtains of conditioning to uniquely reveal insight into not only the ‘whats’ but the ‘whys’ fueling our individual truths. In fact, astrology is such a powerful tool for discovering the driving forces at play in one’s ‘core’, that Jung, who championed the use of astrology in psychotherapeutic work, once proclaimed, “astrology represents the sum of all psychological knowledge of antiquity.”
In this course, no previous knowledge of astrology is required as we will start from the ground up. You will learn the vital foundation of real astrology from an archetypal to an evolutionary perspective, including but not limited to signs, planets, aspects, houses, midpoints, transits, progressions and solar arcs. Equally as important, you will learn what astrology is not, why it is so misinterpreted by modern ‘rational’ thought and the damage done by its misuse via entertainment-based sun sign horoscopes.
This course is designed for the brave and inspired soul; the individual individuating. It will be taught with the intention of being a functioning part of your personal journey rather than an intellectual excursion from it. You will be asked to participate, be vulnerable and willing to self-examine. Our goal is to develop your intuition as you practice astrology, instead of filling your head with rote dogma that doesn’t always apply to you. You’ll be forever equipped to gain immediate insight concerning important life decisions and energies regarding your relationships, family, career, health, etc.
Yet, below the surface, our time together has nothing to do with the astrological symbolisms contained in your ‘chart,’ as they are only a very effective means to a very necessary ‘end.’ By using them, we are really engaging in two simultaneous processes: 1) the disenfranchisement of conditioning, ego and fear and 2) the identification and cultivation of your inner child’s highest self. It is at the confluence of these two processes that you begin to effortlessly radiate love and light on the journey back to your inner divinity.
