Dorothy Walters, Ph.D. (English lit), experienced major spontaneous Kundalini awakening in 1981 when little was known about this phenomenon in this country.  This event aroused in her a desire to know more about the relationship of the wisdom presented in the ancient Yogic texts and the recent discoveries of modern science.  She has read widely in this area and is always eager to learn more about the topic.  She is a published poet of sacred verse and her spiritual autobiography (“Unmasking the Rose”) is a significant account of her own awakening experience.  She writes a blog at www.kundalinisplendor.blogspot.com and also does a Facebook page focusing on spiritual topics
