This is the first workshop in a series on the Simplified Kundalini Yoga (SKY) system. It is Simple, Systematic, Scientific, Secular and Safe. The in-built ease and safety of all the practices enables you to make it a lifestyle.

The basic pillars of SKY are:

  1. Simplified Physical Exercises,
  2. Meditation,
  3. Introspections
  4. Kaya Kalpa Yoga.

The event includes:

  1. An Overview of SKY
  2. Simplified Physical Exercises to balance four circulations (blood, heat, air, energy) to keep the physical structure fit. The exercises rejuvenate the whole body without any physical stress or strain. People of all ages, from 8 to 80 years, can practice and benefit.
  3.  Seven-minute, 14-point acupressure designed to: Clear short circuits of bioelectricity in any part of the body, Alleviate insomnia, Prevent heart ailments, Reduce high blood pressure.

Vijay K. Gupta

vijayVijay is a professor emeritus in the department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, and is a fellow emeritus of the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Environmental Sciences at the university of Colorado, Boulder. The American Geophysical Union (AGU) recognized his highly interdisciplinary collaborative research in 2008 through awarding him the prestigious Horton medal. Vijay studied and practiced SKY with Tatvagyani Vethathiri bringing a strong sense of richness to his life and work. He is currently investigating the deep and unified ancient science that SKY philosophy offers. Indira Bhatt Gupta

indiraIndira co-founded the International Institute for Simplified Kundalini Yoga, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and serves as its president. Her unparalleled passion to bring consciousness into modern scientific arena through mind and meditation is life long. Her background in psychiatry and counseling inspired her to teach SKY system through retreats and workshops worldwide for four decades. She is dedicated to bring personal to planetary wellness through individual personality transformation for conscious co-evolution.
