In January of 2014, Nancy Rynes experienced a remarkable near-death experience (NDE) that completely transformed her life from that of an agnostic scientist to a firm believer in the Divine. After a traumatic bicycling accident, she was in surgery when her soul left her body and traveled to heaven. She was met by a silvery, female form who told her she was being given a second chance. During what seemed like 3 months in Heaven with God, her Guide, and other spiritual beings, she was given many teachings and insights that she could use to bring her life back into alignment with Spirit. “Awakenings from the Light” is information she was given, presented in book form. During this 3 hour class, Nancy will walk you through the messages from Spirit and give you exercises for applying them to your life.

Nancy Rynes While Nancy started out her education as an artist (at Chicago’s American Academy of Art), she went on to earn a degree in geology from Northern Illinois University, then attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, for Masters-level coursework. The sciences taught her to base her views on things she could measure, and since spiritual matters were not measurable, for her they did not exist. The skepticism remained until January of 2014, when Spirit gave her a wake-up call in the form of a traumatic accident and near-death experience (NDE). Since her NDE, she has returned to a more spiritual and creative life based on the wisdom she learned in Heaven.
Nancy has been an archeological artist, geologist, data analyst, and corporate writer and trainer. But then Heaven threw her a curveball, and now she writes books and teaches about the Divine, what happens when we die, and how we can bring a little bit of “Heaven” to our lives on Earth. Nancy is also an award-winning artist, represented in galleries across the western USA.
