Our lives are made up of relationships: with ourselves, with loved ones, with co-workers. We also have relationships with life, with money, and with God. The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives. Too often we attempt to change these relationships by judging, withdrawing, withholding from others and ourselves. We can either feel powerless or get into controlling in order to make things the way we want them to be. The answer to unsatisfactory relationships does not lie “out there.” It lies within each of us.
This workshop is designed to help you heal relationships from the inside out. Instead of trying to change people or situations “out there”, you will learn to become aware of the wounds, beliefs and patterns within yourself that are creating conflict, misunderstandings and resentments, towards yourself and others. This does not mean that conflicts with others are our fault. It means that we can learn tools to release the hurt and automatic conditioning we are carrying that trigger negative responses in our relationships. And, above all, when the quality of the relationship with ourselves improves, the quality of our relationship to everything else gets better as well.
“All relationships are within you. It may look as if a relationship is you with another person or with other people, but it is always you within you, and relationships are one of the greatest mirrors you can have for yourself — your patterns, your beliefs, your conditioned responses. Ultimately, each relationship you have with another person reflects your relationship with yourself.”
