Passive Fascia Restoration speaks to persistent pain by working with the fascia and connecting the parts into bigger patterns. By assisting a person to have conscious awareness of small pains and translating that into large coordinated patterns of the body, I have been very successful at transforming people. Many say they feel like a new person! The pain has been removed and it stays away. With PFR you can do much more bodywork with much less force.

Passive Fascia Restoration is a long lasting treatment. Passive stands for the client’s receptivity and the relaxation training that is such an integral part of the treatment. Fascia is the part that I work on. Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds every fiber and every group of fibers in the body. Restoration occurs when the body’s original blueprint pops into the fibers that have been released by bodywork.

Deborah Bruce was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada and came to the U.S. to study at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. She stayed and became a U.S. citizen and ha practiced massage here for 36 years. As a person with fibromyalgia she really understands the pain and the frustration of looking to doctors for help. That’s why she created a new massage technique over a period of 25 years. She saw a need for an entirely gentle and more effective method of massage and has achieved remarkable results.
