A lecture by Yogacharya Dharmananda (Swamiji)
based on the Sacred Hindu Scripture of the Bhagavad Gita

In this lecture, Swamiji will elucidate the following points:

1.    Characteristic qualities that we should all strive for in our own personal spiritual growth

2.    Characteristic qualities we should look for in our Leaders.

3.     Leaders with personal ambition where do they lead us?

4.    Characteristic qualities of leaders who serve with the ideal of country above self.

Based on the teachings of Lord Krishna in the immortal spiritual classic the Bhagavad Gita, as explained by Paramahansa Yogananda, the celebrated author of “Autobiography of a Yogi.”

As always, the material, though proceeding from Hindu scripture, embodies universal Truth as well as universal application.

Yogacharya Dharmananda (Swamiji) is a preeminent scholar and teacher of the Science of Yoga, Hindu Philosophy, and Comparative Religion. He has been the Director of the International Vishwaguru Yoga and Meditation Institute (Rishikesh, India) from its inception to November 2010. He is now permanently settled in America and is living in Loveland. His lectures, especially his mode of presentation with humor, stories, and anecdotes, have earned him wide acclaim.
