with Carolyn Baker, Ph.D.

Our species and our world face numerous challenges in a time of unprecedented uncertainties: ecological crisis, economic inequality, and regional global instabilities. We can no longer rely on leaders or politicians to resolve these issues, but the issues feel overwhelming for the individual and the community. What shifts in consciousness are these challenges demanding from us? How do we respond? What inner resources must we develop to navigate these turbulent times, what external actions are being called for, and how do we find allies with whom we can engage as we journey together through the uncertainty? These troubling times are calling us to reconnect with our inner wisdom, with other people and with Earth herself. Our business as usual culture has demanded that we disconnect from each of these vital sources of meaning in our lives. Resilience is the life-giving ability to shift from a reaction of denial or despair to learning, growing, and thriving in the midst of a challenge. Come join us on Friday evening and all day Saturday as we maximize our resilience together.
