The Bipolar Experience: In “Disorder,” In Our Culture, In All of Us Sat 4/7

Posted on: March 5, 2018

Saturday, April 7th  1:00 – 5:00 PM

with Chris Cole & Bill Scheffel

Is the bipolar experience also a spiritual one? In what ways does our own culture express a bipolar condition? In what ways do each of us cycle through a bipolar spectrum?
Explore these question as you:
  • Participate in an open, compassionate dialogue about the personal, social and spiritual implications of the bipolar experience.
  • Receive guided instruction in simple breathing, yoga and meditation practices that can be done anywhere and that support working with bipolar experience.
  • Learn an empowering and holistic model for understanding bipolar and other extreme or non-ordinary states.

In this four-hour workshop, Chris and Bill will share from their own journey with bipolar experience and deeply engage with those attending in an intimate exploration of the many ways of viewing bipolar and what the western mental system calls mental illnesses. We will look at ancient and contemporary methods for achieving healing and wholeness. The goal will be to share experience, expand possibilities and come away with new tools for promoting mental health – in all of us.

Note: we have a three-tiered pricing structure ($15 – $35 –$65) to help counter financial inequity and help make our program affordable to all. Please select the price that most appropriately reflects your financial resources. Thank you for your generosity in helping us implement greater accessibility and inclusivity.
